How movement tracking works
When Market News AI publishes a directional context (BULLISH or BEARISH), the Historical Impact Tracker shows a hypothetical movement snapshot starting from the recorded tracking reference price. This may differ from publication time.
- Tracking reference: the recorded starting price, not an executable quote or personalized guidance.
- 7-day window: new tracking observes gains and losses for up to 7 days. Stories remain readable for 90 days.
- Earlier records: tracking could end at a movement threshold. Those recorded outcomes remain unchanged.
- Educational only: performance metrics are hypothetical, not real trading results.
What we provide
- News explanations: Good, Bad, or Neutral interpretations with plain-English reasoning. AI may be wrong or incomplete.
- Price observations: available movement after tracking began, with status and freshness labels.
- Macro context: economic data provides background where available. Coverage and update schedules vary.
- Event context: classification, direction, materiality, and timeliness without a profit probability.
What we are not
- Not investment advice. We don't tell you what to buy or sell.
- Not financial advisors. We are not licensed advisors, brokers, or fiduciaries.
- Not trading directives. AI ratings are educational interpretations.
- Not a broker or custodian. We do not hold customer funds; broker-connected beta tools may transmit orders to Alpaca.
