Lucid plans 3 retail and service sites in France in early 2027, with more than 16 partner locations targeted by year-end. Its delivery miss and production cut outweigh that promise because it has yet to show steady demand.
The French sites could put Lucid in front of more luxury-EV buyers, and Emil Frey offers a route through an established retailer. But Lucid delivered 3,806 vehicles against an average estimate of 4,687, then cut production to 2,954 vehicles while clearing inventory. Those results make it harder to expect the expansion to bring steady sales soon.
Tesla already has stores and service centers across France. Lucid plans more than 16 partner sites, but its delivery miss and lower production do not show a changed outlook for Tesla.
