BP named Emma Lewis to lead refining, terminals, mobility, convenience, and fuels as it shifts to a two-part structure. Her experience and the goal of faster decisions may help, but no results show a change in BP's outlook.
Lewis's past work leading Shell's chemicals unit gives her relevant experience. BP says the new structure is meant to make roles clearer and decisions faster. Those are aims, not reported results, so the story does not yet show a change in BP's business outlook.
